JMP Verdant is a full-service communications firm that specializes in global media strategies, public affairs and entertainment campaigns. We help our clients define themselves, distinguish themselves from competitors, project their messages while illustrating their value in order to articulate their stories – and ultimately achieve their goals.

We see ourselves as long-term media partners to our clients, and while many have used our services to deal with a particular topic, we find it telling that a significant number stay with us long after those campaigns have been completed. Julia Pacetti

Verdant Communications is founded by Julia Pacetti, a global media strategist specializing in high-impact media campaigns for public and international affairs, international political candidates, human rights issues, political prisoner cases, whistleblowers and entertainment properties. Julia has spearheaded global media campaigns for public figures such as civil rights activist and author Daniel Ellsberg and former President Mohamed Nasheed of the Maldives. She has led numerous campaigns for issue-driven Oscar-winning and nominated films including 20 Days in Mariupol, Argentina 1985, Io Capitano, Nai Nai and Wei Po, All that Breathes, Writing with Fire, Fire of Love, American Factory, The Edge of Democracy, My Octopus Teacher, The Most Dangerous Man in America, Five Broken Cameras, Icarus, Hell and Back Again, The White Helmets, A Girl in the River, The Elephant Whisperers, Period. End of Sentence, A Love Song for Latasha, Heroin(e), Traffic Stop, All Quiet on the Western Front, The Holdovers, Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and others.

She has led communications strategies for film festivals and series including Rendez-Vous with French Cinema, New Directors/New Films, The Human Rights Watch Film Festival, the Woodstock Film Festival and Making Waves: New Romanian Cinema.  Julia has developed and executed complete media and event strategies for public figures and campaigns in Australia, France, India, Italy, The Maldives, Vatican City, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, the U.K., the U.S. and at the United Nations. Julia is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs and began her career working in the press office of Senator Patrick Leahy.
